Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, the incumbent will have the following responsibilities:
- Drive a 20′ cube delivery truck and make local deliveries in the
greater Montreal area and Quebec’s urban centers - Communicate courteously with customers by telephone to validate information,
confirm appointments - Prepare daily delivery circuits according to the set of planned addresses
- Handle, prepare and pack materials in plant/warehouse and load truck
Skills required:
- Experience in transport/delivery and truck driving
- Class 5 driver’s license with a respectable driving record
- French and/or functional English
- Customer-oriented, meticulous attention to detail
- Resourceful and autonomous
- Customer service experience an asset
- Experience in furniture manufacturing and/or installation; an asset
