YOUR FUTURE CHALLENGES
The incumbent is responsible for managing orders and planning transport routes for our internal and external customers. He/she plays a key role in ensuring the link between customer expectations, customer service, operations and various corporate functions. He/she also participates in various operational improvement, technological and logistics optimization projects.
MORE SPECIFICALLY, YOUR MAIN CHALLENGES WILL BE :
Main responsibilities
- Plan, organize and optimize transport routes to customers, internal transfers and pick-ups from product suppliers;
- To work with the aim of optimizing logistics costs and meeting delivery deadlines;
- Monitor closely with the production planner, the execution of seed mixes and ensure that customer demand is met;
- Optimize product arrivals at the warehouse according to demand and logistical constraints;
- Produce delivery notes in the SAP system for transport routes to be carried out;
- Work with the Inventory Manager to ensure accuracy of information in the system;
- Process and coordinate customer and supplier returns;
- Track, monitor and analyze freight invoices and ensure compliance with negotiated terms;
- Work closely with the cereal expert for seed contract deliveries;
- Support customer service and communicate with customers as needed;
- Perform all other tasks related to the position;

THE PERSON YOU ARE LOOKING FOR
You have a college degree in logistics, transportation or a similar field, combined with at least 3 years’ experience in a supply chain or logistics position. You have good planning skills and an eye for detail. You are able to communicate well verbally with English speakers. You have good computer skills (MS Office, computerized inventory system). Knowledge of Ministère des Transports du Québec standards and regulations (Guide de transport routier du Québec) is an important asset.
