Bonneville Homes, a leader in the factory-built housing industry for over 60 years, is looking for a Procurement Technician at its Beloeil head office. The selected candidate’s main function will be to oversee the supply of building materials needed to build our dream homes! He/she will be responsible for managing the procurement process for materials and equipment required for our various projects (residential, multi-residential, institutional). She will play a key role in ensuring that budgets, deadlines and quality requirements are met.

Your daily life
- Identify and define construction material and equipment requirements for projects, according to plans
- Transmit bid requests to preferred suppliers, according to purchasing protocol parameters, plans, specifications and project requirements
- Prepare and issue purchase orders (siding, doors, windows, cabinets, countertops, plumbing/electrical/ventilation materials, stairs, etc.).
- Plan deliveries to ensure the availability of resources for production and job sites, in accordance with the purchasing protocol
- Follow-up on purchase orders (confirmations, delivery dates in line with production planning, etc.).
- Monitor deliveries and manage any delays and/or problems related to the receipt of materials
- Work with carriers to optimize costs and delivery times
- Negotiate with preferred suppliers and report any price variations to the manager
- Carry out returns, re-purchases and claims in the event of non-conformity of materials
- Apply and comply with current standards and regulations, depending on the type of project to be supplied
Your expertise
- DEC in procurement management, procurement certificate or equivalent
- Relevant procurement experience in the construction industry
- Excellent knowledge of building materials and building codes
- Proficiency in plan reading (residential, multi-residential, institutional), an asset
- Computer skills (MS Office Suite, Excel, procurement management software, ERP, etc.)

Working conditions
- Permanent, full-time position
- Monday to Friday, 40h/week
