- evening premium of $1.50/hr (if applicable)
- Daytime schedule: Monday to Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. / Friday 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- evening schedule : Monday to Thursday 3:00 pm to 1:30 am (3-day weekend!)

Your responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the production supervisor, using 2D and 3D drawings, you will :
- Analyze and interpret welding symbols and geometric dimensions
- Prepare parts to be welded and produce welded assemblies
- Master and carry out MIG welding methods in all positions (plane, horizontal, vertical) on steel, stainless steel and aluminum (TIG an asset).
- Assemble mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system components according to drawings and schematics
- Participate in the installation or repair of equipment at customer sites
- Help support the activities of other departments
- Responsible for equipment maintenance and cleanliness of work area
Profile and skills required:
- (DEP) in welding/assembly or other related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
- Master the reading of 2D and 3D plans, and interpret symbols
- MIG (GMAW) and Flux Cored (FCAW) welding skills
- Experience in mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics [or training in industrial mechanics (an asset)].
- Experience in a metal products manufacturing plant
- Organized and autonomous
- Methodical and meticulous in his work
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Be able to drive forklifts and overhead cranes
Additional information :
Type of welding: MIG steel 95-98% of the time, MIG aluminum and TIG stainless steel occasionally.
