Reporting to the Vaudreuil Plant Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager develops new business opportunities and works closely with the Ontario and U.S. teams to create new business relationships across Canadian and U.S. markets. The main objective is to achieve our corporate growth targets by generating new business volumes outside Quebec. The Business Development Director is responsible for :

  • Prospect the market to identify, develop and be the primary point of contact for all business opportunities (Ontario & North-East America);
  • Establish and organize the prospecting strategy by sector of activity / define the hunting list(prospecting, solving road blocks);
  • Prepare service offers;
  • Continuously update customer files in the database and CRM (Salesforce);
  • Ensure constant follow-up with our partners on sales, inventory management and various requests;
  • Work closely with the sales team, quotations, samples, computer graphics as well as customer service, shipping and quality assurance;
  • Perform all other related tasks.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any other combination of experience and training deemed equivalent;
  • Experience in a similar position (an asset);
  • Bilingualism, oral and written French and English. We require knowledge of English, as the incumbent will be communicating with Atlantic Packaging employees, suppliers and potential or current customers in English;
  • Market and business development skills;
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Strong sales skills and excellent customer service;
  • Ability to connect easily with people;
  • Open to travel for short stays.
